RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry performs efficient activity for intensifying Armenian Chinese economic ties especially in recent years. Going back to 2008 President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of China applied to President of RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Member of National Assembly Mr. Martin Sargsyan in a descriptive way on the occasion of the opening ceremony of Armenian-Chinese business forum organized in China: “Chamber of Armenia made highly important and initial step in the area of our two countries’ economic relations.” Of course, Armenian-Chinese business forum held in RA CCI on December 8 was its logical continuation, in which managers of dozens companies, famous entrepreneurs attended, some of them already cooperate with Chinese businessmen. The Chamber had prepared round table meeting according to sectors properly. Special activeness was initiated by “Chin-Van” Armenian-Chinese company which manufactures mini tractors with the parts imported from China. Many arrangements have been reached during round table, which will further become concrete program and certain work. Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed Memorandum of Cooperation with similar structure of one of China’s industrial largest regions. Site visits and other meetings were organized in the frame of the visit which will permanently stay on the focus of Chamber’s attention.
