Armenian-Chinese relations

On November 17, 2011, in Qingdao city of Shandong province, People’s Republic of China, Mr. Sergey Manaseryan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the People's Republic of China, Mr. Arthur Yegoryan,  Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia and Mr Ruben Kopyan,  authorized person of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of the Armenia  in China and the "Innovation Center for Belt and Road Collaboration" signed an agreement on  establishment and  support of the Armenian Office of Cooperation

On October 17 in  Erato hall, Armenia Mariott Hotel Yerevan was presentation of National Business Agenda (NBA) developed by Business Advocacy Network  (hereinafter Network). During the event three priorities of National Business Agenda (NBA) was presented: Development of SME Policy, improving the tax system, improving the state inspection system.

In order to improve SME policy, it is proposed to modernize SME classification standards, introduce new SME financing criteria, simplify the process of liquidation of SMEs.

It is proposed to improve the income tax system for the ongoing implementation of tax reforms, to apply improved tax revenue distribution mechanism, and to establish privileges for start-up SMEs.

In the context of inspection reforms, the National Business Agenda plans to complete the development of new legislation on inspection inspections, as well as the improvement of the appeal process of inspections.

In addition, the best international experience of the National Business Agenda process, as well as the work to be done on the development of the position papers and the development of a public-private mutually beneficial dialogue were presented.

National Business Agenda (AGO) is a document that includes current business-related issues and proposed solutions through public-private dialogue.

The Business Advocacy Network is a union of non-profit organizations whose main goal is to support with joint efforts private enterprise development and reform through an effective dialogue between public and private sectors. Currently, the Network brings together 18 business and professional unions, chambers of commerce and industry and other business support organizations.
