
A memorandum on cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia (CCI of RA) (in person of the President of the Chamber Martin Sargsyan) and the Glandale city "Mashtots" College (MC) of the United States (in person of the college rector Karpis Ter-Yeghyayan).Memorandum aims to increase export of domestic production, improve the business environment and contribute to the augmentation of Armenia's economic rating by, exchange visits introdue businessmen the domestic productions. CCI of RA President Mr. M.Sargsyan said that preliminary survey should be conducted in the U.S. market to identify what particular goods will be profitable for export purposes, which would pose interest among Americans and the Diaspora: it will take a serious study of the pricing policy, necessary to develop a strategic plan. "We should also consider the consumer demand of both the American Armenians and the Americans" said M. Sargsyan. "This is a patriotic mission for me and I am 100 percent ready to devote myself to business success," said K. Concert Yeghyayan, adding that the list of goods will be clarified in the near future. Memorandum provides for cooperation in Armenia and in Los Angeles of the United States during conferences, business forums, business visits, exhibitions and trade presentations preparation, organization and processing, provide the relevant area in Glendale, a permanent exhibition of Armenian products - for sale purposes, develop and implement joint projects and events aimed at export promotion,provide economic-legal consulting services free of charge.
